The policies below are applicable to www.ism.ws and all affiliate, group, and forum sites hosted by ISM. By using our site, you are agreeing to these terms.

Cookies
ISM uses cookies for the following reasons:

• To verify that you are a current member when you go to pages in the Members Only area. When you access a page in this area, you are asked for your ISM ID number and last name. Once you have submitted this information during your session, you do not have to submit it again until you log off the Internet and return to a page in the Members Only area of ISM's site.
• So that you don't have to re-enter your ISM ID number and last name every time you return to the Members Only area of the site. When you return to the Members Only area, you will notice the form for entering your ISM ID number and last name are already filled out -- all you have to do is hit the "login" button without re-keying any information.
• To keep track of your selected items if you are using the "shopping cart" feature to purchase products.
• To track progress in online courses in the ISM Knowledge Center.
• To assist in customizing the choices displayed to you based on earlier input.

No personal information other than your last name is used in the cookies on ISM's web site. This information is not used for any other purposes than the ones listed above, and is not sold or made available in any fashion to any other organizations or individuals.

Registration Forms
Site visitors can use online registration forms to apply for ISM membership, register for seminars, and so on. The information collected in these forms is used only to register you for membership or the program specified. ISM does not provide any of this information about you to any third party.

The online registration forms are Secure Socket Layer (SSL) encrypted documents. SSL encryption creates a secure, coded link between your browser and our server, rendering the information you enter indecipherable to unintended viewers.

Occasionally, areas on ISM's site will offer the opportunity to participate in various interactive online activities (i.e., networking directories, discussion forums, live chats, and so on) in which you may or may not provide content submissions. ISM will request information from you if you opt to participate in these activities. Prior to your signing up for these opportunities, ISM will explain the extent to which the information may be used. In the event ISM wishes to use any of this information in any manner other than what you have previously agreed to, ISM staff will contact you for your permission.

In ISM's discussion forums and chat rooms, we do collect dialogue. Dialog in scheduled chat sessions may be archived for later viewing by any ISM site visitor. These exchanges may be edited for obvious grammatical errors or personal or inappropriate discussions. Otherwise, ISM does not edit or monitor the dialog provided through chat sessions or participation in the discussion forums. If you include contact information in the discussion forums, you may receive e-mail or other contact from other individuals.
