ONLINE COURSES AND BLENDED SOLUTIONS

ISM designs and delivers educational programs that incorporate your organization's vision while teaching your team how to put best practices to use in the workplace. ISM's educational offerings provide complete flexibility that can incorporate onsite and online learning to better meet your objectives at competitive pricing. Blended solutions can be enhanced other ISM products as "take-away" tools for continued on-the-job success. These might include tools and templates, archived web broadcasts, ISM's Supply Management Series, Resource Guides, or Focus On products.

Convenience of Online Courses

Online courses can be an effective way of achieving your learning objectives on your schedule, in locations around the world. ISM offers both Instructor-Led and Self-Paced online courses through our Knowledge Center.

Instructor-Led Online Courses are facilitated by proven subject-matter experts, run for four weeks in length, and have defined timelines in which work must be completed. Instructor-led courses have defined start and end dates, and include online interaction with the course instructor and other participants. Although individual and team activities are included, the courses are offered in an asynchronous format which allows access to the content any time day or night. Participants should plan to devote 4 to 6 hours per week working on their coursework.

Self-Paced Online Courses provide participants with complete flexibility to determine how often they want to access content and how quickly to complete each course. Portals

ISM can build a customized knowledge portal designed specifically for your organization. The portal will allow seamless entry for your staff to access online courses in ISM's Knowledge Center (KC). Also, with the cooperation and input from your web team, the portal will be designed and customized by ISM specifically to provide the "look and feel", of your intranet.

With ISM's portal, your organization will be able to access online courses through a direct link and take advantage of ISM's online learning infrastructure and learning management system, with no worries of implementing and supporting your own internal hardware and software. Designated employees will be able to access supply management-related online educational courses and content directly through the knowledge portal.

In addition to a direct link to online courses, the portal can be used to:

• give the company a platform from which to share its program vision and mission
• provide employees direction on how to develop a recommended individual education and training plan, based on your company's training strategy
• provide course descriptions
• deliver additional content (e.g., articles and links to selected sites)
• access administrative and progress reports
