About ISM Online Courses
ISM offers several types of Web-delivered online courses - self-paced, self-directed online learning, and instructor-led online education. Both formats allow you to further your purchasing / supply management education and professional development without any travel requirements.
- ISM Knowledge Center -- Self-Paced Online Learning:
ISM's Knowledge Center courses offer you the opportunity to set the pace for continuing your development in many different purchasing / supply management topic areas. As a participant in our self-directed courses, you will determine how often you want to access the content and how quickly you will finish the course. By completing the registration and payment forms online, you can have immediate access to the course(s) and participate any time that is convenient to your schedule. You can also earn continuing education hours toward C.P.M. recertification or A.P.P. reaccreditation.
- ISM's Instructor-Led Online Courses
ISM also offers Internet delivered, instructor-led online classes. These four-week online courses have defined start and end dates, and include online interaction with the course instructor and other participants. Individual and team activities are also included; however, the courses are offered in an asynchronous format which allows you to access the content any time of day or night. Upon satisfactory course completion, you can earn continuing education hours toward C.P.M. recertification or A.P.P. reaccreditation.
- Special Department of Defense Online Courses
Acting at the request of the Office of the Under Secretary of Defense for Acquisition Reform (USD-AR), ISM and the National Contract Management Association (NCMA) are proud to present two courses focused on teaching commercial practices to government acquisition personnel.
