Transition Information
On January 1, 2001, ISM introduced a new A.P.P. Exam and an updated C.P.M. Exam. The former C.P.M. Exam is no longer available. See details below.
ISM understands that the changes being made to the C.P.M. program can be a bit confusing. Therefore, the following transition chart is being provided to answer any questions regarding the program changes.

Special Rule for Module 4
As of January 1, 2002, only Module 4 of the updated exam can be used to earn the C.P.M.
Age of Modules
Beginning January 1, 2001, only exams passed within five years of the postmarked date of a person's application can be used toward certification. (This supercedes previous policy for A.P.P.s.)
A.P.P.s Applying for C.P.M.
In conjunction with the "Age of Modules" rule, after December 31, 2001, current holders of the A.P.P. must also pass Modules 3 and 4 to complete the C.P.M. Exam requirements.
